Mirror mirror on the wall. Who's the better player of football?
Corny? Yes. True? Seems like it. I included a list below, but before that; The 49ers will know where they are. They are in a place where the Seahawks have a true claim to football invincibility. CenturyLink Field is an environment where opposition, no matter how strong-willed or competitive, have fallen. Valiant efforts put down by earthshaking voices of a merciless crowd. This is an arena, where Gladiators, Titans and Spartans lay it all on the field. Sunday Night Football will let the country know of them.
The 12th Man will stand by the Seahawks through the storm of strong rain, thunder, lightning and gusts. With that, the Seahawks will lead their fans to victory with an iron fist.
The San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks familiarities...
Defensively stout, both of these NFC West powerhouses allow exactly the same amount of points each game (15.6) and close in total yards per game hovering around (300).
They have running backs that are savages and on a totally different level than any other back, besides All Day Adrian Peterson, when it comes to toughness. For a big game like this and in the playoffs, I'd take these two running backs over any other in the league.
The versatility and variability of these two stallion quarterbacks must be given its due potential for a magnificent and magical Sunday Night Football game (5:30pm/pacific). The only differences that lay in between these QBs is that Kaepernick is an NFL sophomore and is more physically prototypical. Sunday night will not only be the kickoff for playoff standings and NFC West ownership, but a future long-lasting rivalry between two great competitors. The NFC West has arrived...
Pete Carroll and John Harbaugh are similar in many ways. This calls for another list...
Read-option play calling
Former college coaches in California (Carroll, USC & Harbaugh, Stanford)
Competition-style practice, no player's position is safe (eg. Alex Smith)
Players have complete faith and extreme loyalty to their coaches. How the Seahawks and 49ers talk to the media with assertiveness, respect and competitiveness is an extension of their coaches. That is true trust, not just belief, but a universal faith.
This is a game that was moved to SNF; A showcasing of a great rivalry that has been brewing in the Pacific Northwest and the 49er fans and the 12th Man have known it. Here... we... go...
